Shipping & Logistics Assistant

Beauty Company seeking a Shipping & Logistics Assistant to help manage day-to-day

shipping & logistic needs.

Job brief:

We are looking for an experienced Shipping & Logistics Assistant to manage daily shipping

and distribution operations. You will work with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure orders are

shipped and delivered in a timely manner.

A successful shipping & logistics assistant is analytical, well-organized and excels in

communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have

great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and submit all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick

slips, bills of lading, international documents, etc.

• Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment

• Prepare and Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders

• Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to optimize processes

• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders

• Ensure compliance to legal regulations & customer policies to prevent chargeback fees

• Pick / Packing / Shipping along with warehouse team

• Report to supervisor regularly on activities and issues

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 Years experience in this type of role

• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures & routing guides a MUST

• Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents (e.g. ASN)

• Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Problem-solving abilities

• High school diploma; BSc/BA in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a definite plus

We operate a small warehouse with a very small team. We expect that all team members

work in a team environment and pitch in where needed to get the job done.
