What you'll do 

Join Doc2Doc Lending as our Head of Risk and play a pivotal role in leading and further developing our credit risk management framework. This key position requires your deep expertise in financial services risk management, especially in lending, to develop and implement comprehensive risk strategies aligned with our specialized business model. You will:  


  • Manage and enhance a risk management framework tailored to the financial services needs of physicians. 
  • Develop and enforce policies to identify, assess, and mitigate a wide range of risks, including credit, market and operational risks 
  • Work independently to develop and manage Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) for consumer lending portfolio.  
  • Serve as the main contact for partners, regulators, auditors, and other external parties on risk management issues. 
  • Lead the Risk Committee on bi-weekly portfolio analysis and provide underwriting, pricing and risk-based recommendations to the Board.  
  • Provide strategic advice on risk appetite and limits to our executive team, influencing key business decisions. 
  • Select and manage advanced risk assessment tools and technologies, ensuring they meet our operational needs. 
  • Evaluate new products and services to help understand the impact on the corporate risk framework. 
  • Regularly report on risks to our stakeholders and adjust strategies to protect our interests. 
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness throughout the company, enhancing everyone’s understanding and management of credit risk. 


What You'll Need 

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or master's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Bring at least 8 years of risk management experience in the financial services industry, with substantial leadership responsibilities. 
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing risk frameworks in startup environments or new business units. 
  • Possess deep knowledge of lending processes and regulatory standards, particularly consumer lending 
  • Exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. 
  • Display robust leadership, collaboration and communication skills, capable of inspiring team performance and engaging with senior stakeholders. 
  • Manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
