-This role involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in designated facilities to optimize efficiency. It may occasionally require driving the company van for various tasks. The role ensures that all equipment is maintained safely, minimizing downtime through proactive performance testing and scheduled upkeep.

-The role adheres to all relevant codes, regulations, and directives from governmental agencies and the company, all related to building operations and work safety. It applies electrical codes to troubleshoot and resolve fundamental electrical wiring and circuitry issues, install and repair electrical equipment and wiring, rough in feeders, branch circuit cables and circuits, splice electric or communication cables/trunk lines, and finish electrical devices.

-The role involves using electrical test equipment, gauges, and other measuring devices to test electrical equipment. It also includes installing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems as per the manufacturer’s instructions, performing device validation, and system commissioning.

-The role carries out assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, and completes maintenance and repair records as necessary. It responds swiftly to emergency situations, calling for additional help if needed.

-The role reviews historical maintenance records to develop a proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedule. It operates the company vehicle safely and follows prescribed routines to service locations promptly.

-The role may involve other duties as assigned. While it has no formal supervisory responsibilities, it does provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. It coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

-Decisions are made with a thorough understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. The role is responsible for setting its own project deadlines. Any errors in judgment may have a short-term impact on co-workers and the supervisor.
