We are seeking to hire a logistics sales professional for our direct client with expertise in direct sales activities to attract new customers in domestic and international freight forwarding.




Responsibilities:


  • Maintain Customer Relationships and serving as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify Business Opportunities actively seeking new business opportunities within existing key accounts, and exploring avenues for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize customer retention and growth. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business strategies with the goals of key accounts.
  • Negotiation and Contract Renewals pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Communication and Reporting keeping clients informed about relevant updates, new offerings, and industry insights.
  • Meet Sales Targets setting and achieving sales targets for both revenue growth and customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a business-related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations with supply chain knowledge and/or relevant logistics sales experience required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air and ocean modes).
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Bilingual in Japanese preferred.
  • Experience working with Japanese companies preferred.
