Position: Network Service/ Network Onsite Support

Location: Irvine, CA 92612

Fulltime (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

Onsite H&F support - Network Services.

  1. Experience of Network Devices such as Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points
  2. Basics knowledge/understanding of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs
  3. Patch phone ports to switch as needed.
  4. Basic troubleshooting of VOIP phones (knowledge of basic configuration)
  5. Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches – Able to visualize errors and communicate to remote technical teams
  6. Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades when required.
  7. Adding memory/flash to existing Non-End User Devices or Devices;
  8. Patching, moving an existing switch or router;
  9. Racking and patching any new Non-End User Devices or Device(s);
  10. Decommissioning a single Non-End User Device or Device, including verifying the impact of such decommissioning and/or shutting the Device down;
  11. Installing new, or moving existing, access points for coverage expansion – No higher than usage of a 6-foot ladder; however for a higher ladder parties shall mutually discuss and agree.
  12. Conducting Site surveys, including asset inventory validation;
  13. Conduct WLAN surveys; installing, decommissioning or moving WAP;
  14. Installing, decommissioning, or moving WLC;
  15. Installing, decommissioning, or moving Smart Edge;
  16. Installing or decommissioning Firewall;
  17. installing, decommissioning or modifying WAN acceleration; Installing, decommissioning or modifying the VPN Gateway;
  18. Granting Site access for the Customer’s third parties.
  19. The onsite Technician may also be required to conduct conference room equipment upgrades where they are swapping devices and following the provided step-by-step processes. Detailed instructions and support will be provided prior to the technician conducting this work.
  20. Good to have an understanding of any Data Center Infrastructure Management Application
  21. Assist network and data center admins (Internal, Customer, and Vendor) as required during the course of technical troubleshooting
  22. Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers and storage devices
  23. Should be able to perform IMACD Installation, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal Services of the Data Center, network equipment
  24. Engineers should have hands-on experience in large/medium enterprise Data Centers or hosting sites consisting of Servers, Storage, and Network devices
  25. Engineers should have all local language proficiency and communication ability in English is mandatory
  26. Engineers should have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in above mentioned area
