We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in working with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Python, Apache Flink, and AWS services. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. Your work will directly support our data-driven decision-making processes and enhance our data infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Data Pipelines: Architect and implement efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using Apache Spark and Python to process and transform large datasets.
  • Real-time Data Processing: Utilize Apache Flink to develop real-time data streaming applications and solutions, ensuring low-latency data processing.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Leverage AWS services (such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift) to deploy, manage, and optimize data infrastructure. Ensure data is securely stored, accessible, and efficiently processed in the cloud environment.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of data processing and storage solutions, implementing best practices in data engineering to ensure high availability and low latency.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance and security protocols to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring and logging for data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure smooth operations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, with a focus on Streaming data technologies and cloud platforms.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for big data processing and Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Apache Flink for real-time data processing and streaming.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, RDS, and Redshift.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.


Other Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
