Fairview Search Group is seeking a Financial Analyst for a rapidly growing service based company in the High Point area. This is an in office role reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for the team, and the role will hold responsibility in a variety of areas in accounting and finance.


The role will provide significant exposure to various business areas to include financial and operational analysis, mergers & acquisitions and the related due diligence support, month end close processes, and software implementation exposure.


  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare, update, and analyze budgets and forecasts, variance analysis in comparing actual performance to budgets/forecasts
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
  • Month end close processes
  • Business Support: Collaborate with different departments to provide financial insights and support for operational decision making. Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by management
  • Software and Systems: Support the implementation and maintenance of financial software systems to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency
  • Communication and Presentation: Present financial results and insights to senior management, communicating financial performance to various stakeholders within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Ideally seeking at least one year of experience in a related role
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and data analysis packages is preferred (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
