Highly innovative electrolyzer company, looking to bring on an Electrolyzer engineer to support on the cell integration and development. Having recently recieved significant funding, they have an impressive runway and exciting growth plans ahead.


Responsibilities:

  • Working on electrolyzer device integration, including understanding the impact of integration processes (compression, gasketing, etc.) on performance.
  • Modeling electrochemical devices.
  • Improving cell performance and optimisation.
  • Work as a subject matter expert for the R & D team.


Experience Required:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in measuring, analyzing, and enhancing electrochemical devices, with a focus on electrolyzers. Experience with fuel cells, electrochemical compressors, and flow batteries is also valued.
  • Proven ability to thrive in and lead a collaborative team environment
  • Strong drive for materials and technology innovation
  • Minimum of three years of relevant R&D experience
  • Four or more years of industrial R&D experience in a relevant technology space
  • Understanding of how cell components (BPP, MPL, membrane, etc.) influence electrolyzer performance
