We are looking for a Sports Media Resource Coordinator for a top entertainment company in Bristol, CT. The Resource Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day operation of production content, logistics, and the facilitation of studio show content into edit facilities. Coordinate and communicate with various producers, production teams, and Editors to prioritize the creation of content needs for daily studio shows and events. In addition, work closely with the Post Production Management and Planning team on scheduling and coordination initiatives as needed. This position will be located on site in the Bristol office.


Responsibilities:


  • Works in conjunction with Studio Production and Creative Post Edit group to evaluate editing needs for live daily studio shows and events in a post-production environment.
  • Becomes familiar with Creative Post edit requests and their unique elements along with the edit skill and time needed to complete content creation.
  • Responsible for making time-sensitive decisions.
  • Become familiar with Production members, Post Editors and their skillset.
  • Acts as liaison for resource scheduling needs between Production members and Creative Studio Editors.
  • Knowledgeable of edit resources available to Production and can work with Production on best options.
  • Required duties will include interpreting complex event traffic information; follow up analysis and problem solving.
  • Evaluate and recommend staffing options for events and to compensate for illness, vacations or other absences.
  • Collaborates with Production Management and Creative Post Edit Management on growth opportunities for Post Edit staff that can be executed in the assignment of projects.
  • Provide feedback on workflows, the amount of work compared to the amount of resources, the ebbs and flows through different sports seasons, and identify workflow solutions and efficiencies.
  • Contribute insight in meetings and provide reports/data/information when requested.
  • Work closely with the Creative Post Management and Resource Planning team on scheduling and coordination initiatives as needed.


Required Qualifications:


  • Experience with resources and/or facilities scheduling
  • Studio Production, Business Operations, Project Management, Newsroom Video Editor or Post Production background
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills (i.e. clear and concise in all forms of communication, ability to handle high-volume requests, manage multiple lines of communication at the same time, as well as digital and in-person interactions with staff and management).
  • Must possess strong organizational skills (i.e. budgeting time and prioritizing workload, accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ability to implement systematic processes and organize information flow).
  • Possesses basic understanding of the production of studio shows, remote events, and packaged shows.
  • Has knowledge of the operational and logistical aspects of production planning.
  • Has demonstrated ability to react quickly and positively under a wide variety of sensitive production situations that arise and are subject to continual change.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Has knowledge of the editing platforms and the many disciplines within the team and how they compliment each other.
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative; suggests ideas and solutions to problems that arise or before they occur.
  • Must understand the value of synergy in a dynamic organization.
