Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman for direct hire in Louisville, KY. Our client is a well-established HVAC Contractor looking to add to their team. This person will be responsible for leading a team of plumbers and executing commercial plumbing projects according to specifications and timelines.

Duties:

  • Carry out duties assigned by the Operations Manager and Superintendent.
  • Execute and lead a team of plumbers (when needed) in plumbing projects according to specifications and timelines.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and manage workflow to maximize productivity.
  • Install, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to resolve plumbing problems effectively.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure long-term durability of plumbing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with Superintendent and team members to provide updates on project progress and address concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Journeyman Plumbing License in good standing in Kentucky.
  • Proven experience as a plumber with several years of hands-on experience in Commercial plumbing.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Adaptability to handle unexpected challenge and make quick decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Capable of lifting to 50lbs
  • Should be able to stand for six to eight hours per day, with the potential for extended periods during overtime.
  • Capable of working in extreme weather conditions.
  • Hold a Valid Driver’s License
