Sector Sales Manager, Assembly Automation NA

Ewellix is a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications and mobile machinery. Ewellix has 16 sales units and six factories. External net sales are approximately 250 EUR million and we employ around 1250 people. Ewellix is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and is owned by the Schaeffler Group.

We are currently looking for a Sector Sales Manager for our Assembly Automation division in North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Head of Product Development, the Sales Sector Manager will be responsible for business unit growth in NAM.

Demonstrate value proposition for customers by emphasizing not only the product but the company’s unique approach, support, and partnership.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations and/or product demonstrations.

Identify prospective customers and incorporate sales strategies to ensure effective brand communication.

Build and maintain customer relationships by establishing a sound network with key decision makers and stakeholders.

Develop growth plans for sales by identifying new prospects and building pipeline of qualified accounts.

Stay in tune with industry trends, competitor activities, market shifts, and emerging markets identifying key opportunities and threats.

Analyze customer requests and work with internal business partner to ensure customer needs and expectations can be successfully met while following company processes and policies.

Provide practical and business minded guidance on customer requests and contract-related issues.

Provides strategic support to negotiations for contracts and programs. To be directly involved in the negotiations with the Key Customers.

Forecast sales and align with the MU to ensure plant capacity.

Provide and coordinate support for local AA and Robotics projects.

Implement global strategies for AA and Robotics in NAM

Any additional task as requested by the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand and communicate technical topics to a wide range of audiences.
• 7+ years in a product engineering environment with progressive management experience.
• Technical knowledge of assembly automation and robot-controlled components.
• Ability to travel to see external customers or internal global teams.
• Ability to manage several projects in parallel.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS：

• Customer relationship management experience in order to drive and influence customer technical choices.
• Understanding of Project Management concepts and related key tools like
• Strong teamwork attitude.
• Good communication skills and openness toward multi-cultural team management.
• Availability to travel (locally and internationally).
• Knowledge of Linear Motion platform of products.

Other Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Motors, motion control and PLC background preferred
• Excellent technical skills, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural and multi-functional team environment.
• Computer literacy
• Travel requirements (25-50%)

Additional information

This position has remote capabilities but will be required to travel to the Armada, MI plant location periodically.
