Title: Electronics Technician

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an electronics manufacturing or test environment
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex schematics and electrical drawings, with experience interpreting drawings containing 300+ pages of schematics
  • Experience using signal generators, oscilloscopes, and other electronics test equipment to troubleshoot circuit boards and components
  • Strong documentation skills, including experience updating test procedures, assembly instructions, and redlining engineering drawings
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate closely with engineers to bring new products from design to production

Preferred:

  • Specialized knowledge and experience working with CCD, CMOS, and TDI image sensors
  • Hands-on experience assembling and testing camera systems

Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair camera systems and printed circuit boards at the component level
  • Work with complex analog and digital circuits used in camera servo control and image acquisition systems
  • Methodically diagnose issues using test equipment like signal generators and oscilloscopes to pinpoint faulty components
  • Document test results and update assembly/test procedures as needed
  • Train new technicians on equipment, processes, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Provide feedback to engineering on design or manufacturing issues
  • Occasional overtime required, including nights and weekends, to meet tight deadlines (typical 60-hour work weeks)

This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills. Our goal is to help technicians grow their skills and take on more advanced roles over time. A degree in electrical engineering is preferred along with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
