Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Deli Clerk at Tashkent Supermarket in Manhattan, NY. The Deli Clerk will be responsible for customer service, knowledge of meats and cheeses, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, providing samples, and responding to requests, recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging and pricing meats and cheeses.


Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills
  • Food Preparation and Food Service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a deli or food service setting is a plus
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles
