Sr Manufacturing/Plant Analyst

Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Settings: 100% onsite

Reports to the Sr. Manufacturing Analyst/Manager and partners with the Plant Manager.

In this role you will perform as a strategic finance business partner for multiple manufacturing plants with annual spend of $200M - $300M. Ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to optimize cost, profitability and drive overall business performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end analysis and provide comprehensive financial and statistical results to local and senior leadership
• Costing
• Inventory management
• Promote a visible and responsible financial culture on site involving all plant leadership and provide them with financial training and support
• Report on manufacturing budgets and variances
• Analyze and forecast the manufacturing performance based on actual data outcomes and identify risks and opportunities
• Drive site-level forecasting process and identify risks and opportunities
• Continuously reconcile differences between demand and product supply for budget and performance monitoring and provide guidance for course correction as necessary
• Ensure integrity of the manufacturing general ledger and present conclusions on P&L, manufacturing variances, labor analysis, and relevant capital expenditures to senior leadership monthly
• Develop annual site budget with local leadership team
• Steward capital budget for manufacturing plants including development of ROI and post-implementation analysis

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2-3+years of finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial leaders in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand and drives desired behaviors and decisions
