Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager/Resource Manager to join our team and lead projects for our enterprise clients. In this dual role, you will manage large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while also optimizing the allocation of resources across multiple projects. Your ability to coordinate between teams, manage client expectations, and streamline processes will be crucial to your success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of enterprise-level projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with client objectives and internal business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.


Resource Management:

  • Develop and implement resource management strategies to effectively allocate personnel and materials across multiple projects.
  • Identify resource needs and work closely with department heads to ensure the availability of necessary skills and expertise.
  • Optimize resource utilization by analyzing project demands, workforce capabilities, and available capacity.
  • Coordinate with HR and department leads to forecast and plan future resource requirements.
  • Monitor resource performance and address any issues related to workload, availability, or skill gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with resource allocation policies and best practices.


Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic advice on project and resource management.
  • Regularly update clients on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a resource management role, preferably within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects and resources across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
