Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Portrait Photographer at Davillier Photography & Graphics, LLC in New Orleans, LA. As a Portrait Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing studio portraits of high school seniors and in school portraits of underclassmen. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting photoshoots, uploading culled images to our proprietary software, and delivering high-quality final products that meet our clients' expectations. The right applicant will be ready to grow their skills with our company to branch out into other areas of photography we offer.


Qualifications

  • Experience in portrait photography
  • Proficiency in using professional photography equipment and software
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent technical skills and an eye for composition
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their vision and goals
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of lighting techniques and posing to create flattering and impactful portraits
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to different shooting environments and situations
  • Experience in videography, event photography, sports photography, and/or graphic design is a plus
  • Passion for storytelling through imagery and staying updated with industry trends and techniques
