JOB OVERVIEW: The Tallahassee Office of MARLIN Engineering, Inc. is looking for a computer programmer to assist with support contracts for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). This position will work closely with the MARLIN Director of Transportation Systems Development and the FDOT Office of Transportation Data and Analytics (TDA). TDA is the FDOT’s central clearinghouse and principal source for highway, traffic, travel time, multimodal, and freight and passenger data information. The computer programmer will support a variety of applications and programs that have been developed for TDA by MARLIN. The eligible applicant should have experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and must be self-motivated and follow coding best practices and methodologies.
