Our client, a respected law firm, is seeking an experienced Case Manager – Litigation to join their dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation cases, ensuring meticulous case preparation.

Focus:

  • Assist attorneys in managing litigation cases by preparing and drafting legal documents such as motions, complaints, and briefs.
  • Perform legal research and assist in the preparation of trial strategies and legal arguments.
  • Coordinate and manage evidence, assist in responding to interrogatories, and ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the litigation process.
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and experts in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for electronic discovery (ESI), ensuring compliance with discovery obligations.
  • Support attorneys during trial preparation by creating and organizing exhibits and trial materials.
  • Maintain case files, ensuring accurate records are kept and deadlines are met.
  • Utilize Excel and other data management tools to organize and track case-related information.
  • Provide administrative support as required, including managing schedules and meeting coordination.


Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's degree and certification from an ABA-approved program; or Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a civil litigation law firm, with extensive knowledge of ESI and discovery processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data creation and management.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and legal research tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
