HR Assistant/Clerk
Pay: $22-$26/HR
Schedule: M-F // 8am to 5pm
100% in Office
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an Human Resources Assistant/Clerk to support the HR department in various administrative tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining employee records.
- Recruitment Support: Aid in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Onboarding Assistance: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries, documenting complaints, and supporting HR investigations as needed.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollment processes, answering employee questions about benefits, and maintaining accurate records.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and programs, including scheduling training sessions, preparing materials, and tracking attendance.
- HR Projects: Assist HR team with special projects and initiatives as assigned, such as policy updates, HRIS implementation, or employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a Human Resources department.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and recruitment platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred.
- HR Certifications are a plus
