About the Graphic Designer role -

USCAPE is seeking a graphic designer with 1-3 years of professional experience in graphic design and a versatile skill set across both print and digital deliverables. The ideal candidate will have strong Adobe Illustrator skills with great attention to detail and will work directly with our Art Manager to work on various design projects ranging from production art to designing new merchandise artwork. This role is based in our Irvine CA office.

 

Day to day responsibilities -

· Creating art proofs/production art for our collegiate and retail shops from templated designs

· Creating mockups and design sheets for potential customers

· Coming up with new designs for the line based on current design trends

· Creating print ready files

Hard Skills

· B.A. degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

· Highly Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop (1-3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer)

· Experience with both print and digital design

· Print production knowledge

· Aware of trends in apparel industry

· Must be good at organization and prioritization

· Willingness to work both autonomously and with a team

· High productivity and attention to detail

· Creativity within project constraints and defined documentation

Starting Base Pay will be $22 - $25 / hour
