Sales Lead

  • Manage and Lead the Independent Rep network.

  • Manage and ride along with independent reps in the market
  • Train independent reps on the products
  • Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue.
  • Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers.
  • Work closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and develop action plan to capitalize on shifts in market.
  • Prepare sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings.
  • Compile dealer's sales data, interpret buying cycles, share results with production to efficiently plan weekly and monthly production plans.
  • Target growth opportunities within existing base and collaborate with local rep to successfully transition the accounts.
  • Support customers as they move to our client's products by eliminating barriers to conversion and creating a positive customer experience through all aspects of the transition.
  • Develop and Utilize CRM tools to drive informed decision that enable additional volume growth year over year.
  • Executes segmentation to evaluate and assess the market and lead all aspects of the customer sales process, while leveraging other resources to assist in solution development and implementation as necessary.
  • Willingness and ability to cultivate relationships, grow networks, nurture leads, and passion to identify targets.
  • Develop a solid understanding of company products, customer programs and benefits
  • Capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision making in their market.
  • Able to host, lead and present in front of large audiences.


Desired Skills/Characteristics:

  • 3+ years of building products sales experience in a high touch sales environment.
  • Prior track record of success in a sales role
  • Prior experience managing independent reps
  • Prior roofing experience desired
  • Able to convey construction expertise and knowledge at job sites.
  • Strong sales mentality and understanding of sales process.
  • High level of organization, discipline, and self-structure.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships at all levels in an organization and in differing environments.
  • Travel 25-50% out of market travel.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program (preferred)
