Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Dietitian at Cooper Clinic. Cooper Clinic is looking to add an additional Registered Dietitian to our already thriving team The Registered Dietitian is responsible for patient nutritional evaluation and education, as well as assisting with development and review of nutritional materials, contributing articles for web sites, magazines and other publications, public speaking, etc. You will also be involved in weight management programs and promoting overall nutrition and wellness.


Qualifications

  • 2 years post-internship experience required
  • Master's degree or advanced certification preferred (CDCES, CSOWM, CSSD).
  • Experience in providing Nutritional Counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy
  • Knowledge of Weight Management programs
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills and embody Core Values of Cooper Clinic: Prevention, Research, Excellence, Fitness, Integrity, Compassion and Service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Must enjoy a fast-paced environment, provide patient-centered care and counseling, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, exhibit high level of motivation and drive to stay current with nutrition trends and research, work well in a team environment, have strong communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field
