About the job

Headquartered in Alpharetta, Encina Lender Finance offers revolving lines of credit and term loans typically ranging in size from $20MM - $100MM to emerging and established specialty finance companies across consumer and commercial asset classes. 

 

Job Summary

The Collateral Analyst:

·      is responsible for a portfolio of accounts and serves as the point person for borrowers;

·      reviews, monitors and processes customer borrowing bases;

·      performs analysis of underlying collateral with an emphasis on pro-active identification of deteriorating trends; and

·      prepares and processes requests in accordance with the terms of a borrower’s credit agreement.   

 

Other Responsibilities

·      Process, monitor and examine client collateral information

·      Analyze borrowers’ collateral for eligibility and trends

·      Process client loan activity and ensure accurate application to the loan system by adhering to established internal controls

·      Review of loan documentation

·      Develop and maintain a solid working relationship with all team members and borrowers with delivery of exceptional customer service

·      Strictly adhere to policies and procedures; complete tasks accurately and on time; support the company’s goals and values

·      Inform Portfolio Management Teams of any discrepancies or pertinent information

·      Elevate issues/concerns to management in a timely manner

·      Provide back-up to other Collateral Analysts as needed

·      Maintain consistency and well-organized files

·      Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

·      Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

·      High attention to detail

·      Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability

·      Strong team player with the ability to work independently

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·      Advanced math skills: calculate interest and percentages, cash reconciliations

·      Business acumen

·      Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks


Education and Experience

·      High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree preferred

·      Minimum 8 years of experience in a commercial lending environment in an operational capacity

·      Asset Based Lending, Lender Finance and/or Factoring experience is preferred

·      Treasury Management and banking experience a plus

 

Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.
