Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Network Services will provide leadership and expertise in the critical operations of the entire North America enterprise network infrastructure. This role is essential for managing daily operations of a large-scale network, ensuring operational excellence, security, and reliability across retail, supply chain, data center, and corporate functions. You will ensure that network services meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and align with business objectives to enhance overall organizational efficiency.


In addition, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of network automation tools that support our transformation strategy. Collaborating closely with the Director of Network Infrastructure, you will define strategic goals, develop actionable roadmaps, and execute initiatives with internal and external partners.


As a leader in this role, you will manage a dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, focusing on exceptional service delivery and strict SLA compliance. You will work alongside various business units to align network services with strategic objectives, fostering seamless collaboration across functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee network operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with performance standards.
  • SLA Governance and Vendor Management: Monitor SLA compliance, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for quality service in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a liaison between Network Services and business units to align strategies with business goals.
  • Network Monitoring and Automation: Implement advanced monitoring tools and automation processes to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
  • Leadership Development: Mentor and develop a team of network professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies to meet evolving business needs and security standards.
  • Network Automation Framework: Develop and execute an end-to-end network automation framework and tools strategy.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues and devise innovative solutions using automation frameworks.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and support procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, with 2-3 years focused on network automation solutions.
  • Strong scripting skills and experience in large-scale network automation implementation.
  • Proven experience managing complex SLAs within a multi-vendor context.
  • Leadership experience in managing network engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (SAFe) is preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco/Aruba certifications.
  • ITIL Service Management training or certification.
  • Expertise in fault monitoring, capacity management, configuration management, and performance management.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of network architecture best practices and integration of cloud-based services.
