- Job Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Types of Cases: Asthmatics, DKA, Ingestions, and chronic ventilations.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
- Requirements: Board Certification-Acute Care Certification required OR Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). One year of pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in PICU, ICU, or ER preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.
- Miscellaneous: The unit consists of 6-8 beds. Candidates need to be comfortable with working autonomously. The unit will consist of 1 APP and 1 physician. Interested candidates will need a minimum of 1-year relative PICU experience.
