Litigation Associate Attorney

Birmingham, AL


Our client, a successful defense litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Litigation Practice Group.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing legal advice to clients on a variety of litigation issues.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis.
  • Corresponding with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Drafting legal documents.
  • Participating in legal proceedings, including depositions, motion hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and/or trial.


Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of litigation experience
  • Must be licensed to practice law within Alabama or willing to obtain an Alabama license immediately.
  • Experience representing either plaintiffs or defendants in civil litigation.
  • Experience in hearings, depositions, and/or motion practice.
  • Trial and arbitration experience is a plus.
