We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical practice with research involvement. The successful candidate will split their time between providing direct patient care in the clinic setting and serving as a Clinical Research Provider under the direction of the Principal Investigator as a sub investigator.


Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient care.


Clinical Research: This role is primarily responsible for delivering the highest quality clinical research services to the research patients, ensuring safety and adherence to study protocols as well as providing quality service to Investigators, CRO's, and Sponsors. Ensures confidentiality and compliance are maintained at all times.

  • Review of Labs, ECG, and Medical Records for research patients.
  • Provide Physicals Exams for research patients.
  • Provide Rating scales.
  • Communication and Discussions with Medical Monitors.
  • Provide Medical discussions with staff, patients, and caregivers.
  • Outreach to other practitioners offices.

Research experienced preferred, but willing to train.


Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Experience in primary care or neurology preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience or interest in clinical research is desirable.


Schedule:

  • Total hours per week: 40
  • Monday-Friday 8-5:00
