Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal at Young, Thagard, Hoffman, LLP located in Valdosta, GA.

Responsibilities include drafting discovery responses, monitoring, and complying with discovery deadlines, conducting legal research and pre-trail investigations, summarizing medical records, filing of court documents, interviewing clients, drafting routine notices, pleadings, correspondences, and affidavits. Gathering and arranging evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation, assisting with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

Qualifications

• Law and Legal Document Preparation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong research skills
• Proficiency in document review
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
