Pilates and/or Barre Instructor

Seeking Instructors certified to teach Pilates Equipment and Barre classes at our busy Lindenwood Park location.

Responsibilities

Teach 1-10 hours a week in Pilates Equipment or Barre group classes- max participants of 6-8 in a class. Pilates Instructors teach private and semi-private lessons as well. Hours range on instructor availability and studio need.

Qualifications

Excellent communications skills, friendly and outgoing personality. Skilled and Certified to teach utilizing some or all of the Pilates Equipment such as the reformer, tower, chair, mat, etc. For Barre Instructors, certified in a local or national Barre certification program. Experience in fitness instruction highly preferred but possibly negotiable based on skill level.

Busy Pilates & Barre Studio in Lindenwood Park neighborhood in South City seeking Pilates and Barre Fitness Instructors to join our team of friendly & skilled instructors. Ideal applicants would be energetic, skilled, down to earth, responsible, friendly and customer service oriented. For Pilates: Ideally Certified some or all Apparatus / Equipment instruction such as the Reformer, Tower/Trapeze Table, Ladder Barrel, Chair, and Pilates Mat. For Barre: Certified by a Barre instructor program locally or nationally.

Pilates and Barre Applicants must be willing to take on new private lessons (as needed for Pilates only) and group classes (Pilates and Barre), secure liability insurance for their teaching, and ideally have a national Pilates and /or Barre teaching and CPR certification, or be willing to work toward that.

Various shifts need coverage but specifically looking for a Pilates teacher who can cover Sat at 10:15am weekly plus possibly a daytime shift and an evening shift. Barre teacher is needed to cover at least one evening Barre class per week plus rotating Sat mornings at 9, plus possibly more. Instructors will be hired on an Independent Contractor basis.
