Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive UAV Flight Operator to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. If you are highly responsive, consistent, and a strong communicator, we want you to be a part of our growing organization. Majority of the role will require the pilot to constantly monitor drone operations while sales team is presenting to prospective clients. As a crucial team member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Paladin's proprietary drones are always ready for deployment and client-facing demonstrations. This includes preparing and testing equipment for demonstrations and communicating status to the rest of the team. Equipment R&D and production testing will occasionally be required from this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain a sufficient inventory of Paladin's proprietary equipment, ensuring they are prepared for deployment at all times.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct remote product demonstrations that effectively highlight the distinctive advantages of Paladin's technology to potential clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our technology and current projects to confidently address real-time inquiries regarding the functionality of our products.
  • Adaptability: Embrace the versatile and dynamic nature of startup environments, where wearing multiple hats is essential for success.


Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a UAV Flight Testing, Technician, or similar role.
  • Certification: Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 License
  • Reliability and Communication: Exceptional responsiveness, reliability, and effective communication skills.
  • Mission Alignment: A strong dedication to Paladin's mission and a burning desire to contribute significantly.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at multitasking.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience and familiarity with DJI Enterprise level drones (e.g., Matrice 300, Matrice 350, Matrice 30T, Matrice 3TD...)
  • Experience and familiarity with DJI docking stations
