Job Description


Essential:

  • Expertise in working with the Magento2 platform and Porto theme
  • Expertise in front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, etc.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end application design for performance and usability
  • Understanding of website design elements and layout
  • Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (ie: Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Enthusiasm/Understanding of Automotive, Motorcycle, and/or Powersports Performance Industries
  • Calendar and Deadline Driven
  • Positive Attitude with Good Communication and Teamwork Skills
  • Self-Motivated and Results Driven
  • Organized and Disciplined


Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement website design elements for a smooth web experience
  • Able to work collaboratively with our team or independently on more individualized projects
  • Create graphics and website content at an expert level using applications like Adobe Creative Suite
  • Work seamlessly within our Online/Offline Production Workflow
  • Be able to resolve layout cross-browser and compatibility problems
  • Layout website elements using the Magento2 platform
  • Focus on code quality by devising efficient testing processes
  • Contribute innovative ideas to continuously improve the team’s productivity and efficiency


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development
  • 3+ years of experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, and other modern Javascript frameworks
  • Expert-level use of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Expertise in working with the Magento2 platform and Porto theme
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic and website content design
  • Good sense of usability and design layouts
  • Ability to retouch, color correct, and composite photos
  • Must be meticulous, organized, and able to work in agile development environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, manage time, and identify resources for projects
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
