Job Summary: Are you ready to make a difference? The primary role of the Rapport Leadership Training Advisor is to develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones. Effectively create new sales opportunities from recommendations, skillfully diagnosing client needs, matching Rapport solutions with key decision-makers, closing business, and growing sales revenue.


Sales experience is preferred, but not required. Relationship building is the key to success. The Leadership Training Advisor will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as the key initiator of new and strategic business development by reaching out to prospects
  • Utilize profound and demonstrable networking and outreach skills to connect with decision-makers and leaders, as well as other key stakeholders, to generate interest, pipeline opportunities, and new business
  • Provide a professional presence and credibility in face-to-face meetings, live in-person, and live online
  • Present as a skilled communicator who can effectively diagnose and assess client needs and find the best fit between client and product


Responsibilities:

  • Own the full-cycle sales process from initial call to support of attendees after course experience
  • Become knowledgeable about all of Rapport’s products, services, and solutions.
  • Establish long-term relationships with customers that will drive revenue generation and retention
  • Reach monthly and yearly revenue target quotas for sales of Rapport’s services
  • Create relationships with clients that allow you to clearly understand needs and provide ongoing solutions.

Job Requirements:

This position requires experience in one or both areas below:

  • Sales and relationship building experience
  • Requires a skillset in consultative sales with demonstrated capability in lead generation, prospecting, forecasting, and driving quality opportunities to closure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience carrying and exceeding quotas in fast-paced, high-growth organizations
  • CRM experience (Hubspot or Microsoft Dyanmics preferred)
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communications and technical skills are essential with the ability to facilitate compelling, polished sales presentations which will include key decision makers (VPs, Executives, C-Suite, and HR professionals)
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
