Position: Director of Emergency Services
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Hours Per Pay Period: 80
Essential Job Functions
- Schedule staff and maintain payroll hours for the Emergency Department (ED) and EMS services.
- Supervise, direct, coach, and mentor staff while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
- Manage financial oversight and budgeting for the departments.
- Supervise EMS volunteers and collaborate with medical staff to optimize clinical performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
- 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Education:
- A.S. or BSN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Certifications and Licenses:
- Active nursing license applicable to the state of employment.
Position Summary
The Director of Emergency Services will lead the Emergency Department and EMS teams, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional clinical care. Key responsibilities include staff scheduling, mentoring team members, collaborating with medical professionals, and maintaining financial oversight of the departments.
