Job Description:

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a seasoned AI Architect to join their Large Model Research (LMR) team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing their AI architecture strategy, ensuring seamless integration and scalability of AI initiatives across the organization. The AI Architect will act as a central figure, bridging the gap between various technical teams and business units to foster innovation and efficiency in AI deployments.


Responsibilities:

Strategy and Collaboration:

  • Develop and own the AI architecture strategy in collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, developers, and operations teams (DevOps, DataOps, MLOps).
  • Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with broader IT strategies while focusing specifically on AI technologies.

Use Case Development:

  • Identify, pilot, and scale AI use cases in collaboration with data scientists and business leaders.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of AI implementations, translating business visions into actionable technical plans.
  • Highlight and address misaligned or impractical AI initiatives early in the development cycle.

Architecture Design and Implementation:

  • Gather requirements from diverse stakeholders including IT, security, and business units to design AI solutions that meet current and future needs.
  • Select and integrate technologies, choosing between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid models, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Audit AI tools and practices for continuous improvement, focusing on data, models, and software engineering.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms for AI services to support model recalibration and retraining.
  • Work with security and risk management to mitigate AI-specific risks like data poisoning, model theft, and adversarial attacks.
  • Stay updated with emerging regulations and ensure compliance, promoting ethical AI practices.

Technology Selection and Integration:

  • Choose appropriate AI technologies from both open-source and commercial options.
  • Ensure new AI tools integrate effectively with existing data management and analytics platforms.


Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in AI or machine learning architecture roles.
  • Proven track record in implementing large-scale AI solutions in enterprise environments.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud computing, and data architecture.
  • Strong architectural skills in designing scalable, secure, and efficient AI systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and AI frameworks.

Certifications:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI/ML technologies are a plus.
