Education & Experience Required:
- in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- years of Testing and validation experience, ideally with complex systems (Vehicle or heavy equipment)
- license in good standing, comfortable operating SUV/pickup size vehicles
Technical Skills
- with CAN protocols
- vehicle validation experience
- with Linux Operating System
- creating and executing test cases.
- discovering and documenting system and software issues.
- with Ethernet protocols
- with Autonomous systems; including high precision positioning (GPS/IMU), perception (Radar/LIDAR), and path planning.
- Control systems experience – steering, braking, acceleration
Soft Skills
Strong communication and technical writing skills.This role requires the ability to communicate clearly with other test engineers and leads at the BB test track.For the creation of test cases, updates to test cases, and for documenting discovered issues – strong technical writing skills are critical.
