Job Summary:
Steelworx Industrial Group, LLC. is seeking a Bilingual Concrete Foreman with proven experience in the commercial concrete industry. This pivotal role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all project-related field activities, including managing day-to-day operations on multiple construction sites.
This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. The successful candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English and have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee Concrete Projects:
- Manage concrete projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a concrete crew, providing direction and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with project team members to resolve any issues or delays that arise.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to maintain compliance.
Education & Skill Requirements:
- MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH. You will not be considered for this role unless you are bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in the commercial concrete industry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation.
