We are actively seeking a Physician Psychiatrist/Medical Director in the Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach, Florida area. We are seeking a Physician Psychiatrist who is well-versed in the care of addiction and primary psychiatric patients centered on provision of substance use disorder care, co-occurring psychiatric illness treatment as well as primary clinical psychiatric treatment. Successful candidates must be well versed in psychiatric assessments, psychopharmacology management, and psychiatric consultation/management at all levels of primary mental health and addiction treatment care ranging from medical detoxification, residential, partial hospital, intensive and standard outpatient settings.

 

This is a full-time role. However, we are willing to consider/discuss PT situations or other arrangements; so please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss.

 

The candidate MUST currently reside in the South Florida area or be willing to relocate to the South Florida area (Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach). 


Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • Current and valid Board Certification in psychiatry (ABPN). Will consider Board-Eligible candidates
  • Medical Degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida
  • Current DEA Registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR (American Heart Association for Health Care Providers)
