They are currently seeking a BICSI Technician to join their team and work on a variety of space modernization projects, focusing on advanced infrastructure systems, including structured cabling, data centers, and telecommunication networks.

Focus:

• Manage end-to-end space modernization projects, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance of infrastructure systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot structured cabling systems for data centers, telecommunications, and other critical applications.
• Perform technical evaluations, including testing, commissioning, and documentation for structured cabling and telecommunication systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to execute system updates and enhancements.
• Collect and analyze data from system tests, including fiber optics, copper cabling, and network performance measurements.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to industry standards, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test results, and system reports.
• Conduct routine maintenance and perform system optimizations as required.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing training on the latest industry standards and best practices.

Skill Set:

• 3+ years of field experience in a similar role, particularly in space modernization or related industries.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, and telecommunication systems.
• In-depth knowledge of BICSI standards, telecommunications infrastructure, and space modernization technologies.
• Proficient with tools and equipment for testing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Relevant certifications, including BICSI Technician Certification, are highly desirable.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
