ASTI Environmental has an opening for a part- or full-time, skilled, detail-oriented, well-organized Hydrogeologist with more than four (4) years’ experience in environmental consulting. We are looking for a mid- or senior-level scientist with experience designing aquifer slug and pumping tests to obtain and evaluate hydrogeological data. Recent experience with groundwater modeling is preferred.


Responsibilities

Project or task management for our Property Services Group

Supervising typical projects, including Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and groundwater investigations

Data design, validation, evaluation, and reporting

Preparing and reviewing proposals

Providing technical review on groundwater investigations

Problem solving and solution recommendations


Qualifications

At least four (4) years’ experience in designing, reviewing, and reporting hydrogeological investigations using latest software and best practices, required

Groundwater modeling proficiency, preferred

Experience with the environmental due diligence process, preferred

Working knowledge of Michigan’s Part 201 rules and regulations, preferred

Involvement working closely with Michigan EGLE, preferred

Strong written and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, required
