Neuropathologist

Assistant Medical Director- Neuropathologist

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Medical Director in Dallas The Medical Director needs to be highly experienced in Neuropathology, such as epidermal and sweat gland nerve fiber density skin biopsy, muscle and nerve biopsy, brain autopsy, and surgical neuropathology consults. A successful Doctor will be able to examine samples and provide clinically accurate neuropathologic diagnoses and must be able to explain the clinical and pathological reasoning behind their interpretations.

Responsibilities:

• Examine a variety of neuropathology cases
• Assist the Medical Director in the oversight of all laboratory testing
• Train and supervise pathology assistants, residents, and fellows

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (or equivalent medical professional degree) with Anatomical Pathology and Neuropathology Board certification or eligibility
• Hold or eligible to obtain a Texas State medical license and Certificate of Qualification from the CLEP
• Strong scientific skills in anatomical pathology, particularly neuropathology
• Ability to work on-site
