Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Boston, MA firm. This position is scheduled as hybrid, 3 days in office/2 days remote. Why Work Here?

Duties

  • Senior Accountant will oversee the financial activities of the company
  • Assists in the preparation of schedules for all firm audits (US, UK, Germany, and HK), rewalted to the Equity section of the financials
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Analyze financial data
  • Create budgets
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations
  • Supervise accounting staff
  • As a Senior Accountant, you will provide financial reports to leadership
  • Make recommendations for improving financial process
  • Advise or prepare financial planning, forecasting and tax preparation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Solid understanding of tax laws
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency with accounting software and systems, spreadsheet, and lead train junior accounting teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills and verbal skills
  • Able to lead and supervise a team
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
