We are looking for FinOps Consultant to work out of Remote.


Required skills:

5+ years of IT experience, 5+ years of FinOps experience – cost management/ i.t. budgeting and spending/ cost optimization best practices

Proficiency and understanding of at least one of the adopted public cloud provider platforms and services (e.g., Azure/ AWS/ OCI/ GCP preferred)

Experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting -- preference toward financial disciplines with a high level of accuracy.

Analytical mindset and learning agility towards identifying FinOps.

Preferred Skills:

FinOps fundamentals education or certification

Understanding of public cloud provider billing methods and concepts

Working knowledge of third-party or cloud-native cloud cost reporting products and tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Mgmt+Billing)

Advanced technical skills using Excel, SQL, MS Access, or other data analysis tools

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management activities e.g., budgeting
