The Senior Software Developer position is part of a dynamic team responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing all aspects of the proprietary software in use.

Responsibilities

  • Active contributor to daily software scrum meeting. Participates in Agile development meetings, offering ideas and making constructive suggestions to Software Manager and software team members that support and improve quality development standards and software testing procedures.
  • Must have experience in C# .NET (.net Framework and/or .NET standard)
  • Expert using Visual Studio (2019+ preferred)
  • Good understanding of principals of Service-Model and gRPC/SignalR/WCF (SVC Contract/Data Contract) communication using Entity framework, with Blazor/MAUI/WinForms
  • Experience with Entity Framework/MongoDB/SQL based databases
  • Good understanding of Ethernet Communication - TCI/IP (TCP & UDP) communication Processes
  • Able to support customers in all aspects of software functionality to include software, data integration and configuration related questions and issues.
  • Assists customers with troubleshooting software issues as directed.
  • Works with Software QA to quickly and efficiently track and resolve defects prior to deployment, and defects found in production environments.
  • Participate in training sessions held to help to educate both in-house and field customer service representatives in the configuration and use of company's software.
  • Ensure that software documentation matches the current behavior of software.
  • Occasionally travel to key customer sites to help with software integration.
  • Ability to work efficiently within production time standards to meet production deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience developing with Charting/Graphing
  • Experience developing with DevExpress (Grid and Controls)
  • Experience developing BlazorServer or MAUI applications
  • Experience developing with external device interfaces (such as digital/analog I/O boards)


Required Education, Certification, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related disciplines or experience equivalent;
  • 5 years experience in software development, with focus on Windows-based .net platforms;
  • 5 years experience in software testing, including test plan development and a proven track record of driving improvement in software architecture test driven development, defect tracking and documented improvement processes.
