Role: Guidewire Business Analyst (Billing Center & Policy Center)Duration: 6+ MonthsLocation: Warren NJ ( Hybrid, 3 days Onsite; 2 Days Remote) Job Description:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Guidewire BillingCenter and related modules.Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams.Partner with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle — from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.Support data validation and troubleshooting using SQL and related tools.Facilitate workshops, sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups within an Agile/Scrum framework.Contribute to integration design efforts and assist in validating API-based workflows and system interfaces.Ensure adherence to business processes, compliance standards, and best practices in documentation and delivery. Required Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.Hands-on experience with the Guidewire suite—specifically BillingCenter, with working knowledge of PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes, including policy administration, billing, and claims management.Proven ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.Familiarity with SQL for performing data validation and supporting troubleshooting activities.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinating between cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills with keen attention to detail Preferred QualificationsGuidewire certification in BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, or ClaimCenter.Experience with system integrations and API-based workflows (REST/SOAP).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Exposure to data migration, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Knowledge of compliance and audit frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or NAIC guidelines.
