Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Forest Lake, MN (100% on-site with some flexibility)
Role Overview: We're seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior Financial Analyst to drive our financial strategy and support our rapid growth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and can translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for profitability projections and COGS assessments across our 6000+ product lines
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our costing and profitability data to optimize margins and suggest strategic directions
- Create and implement financial processes and structures to support our scaling operations
- Analyze and report on key financial metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
- Lead projects related to COGS, landing costs, and other variable costs affected by seasonal and supply chain factors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support business strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CPA) is a plus
- 5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in e-commerce or retail with a supply chain focus
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with other financial software is beneficial
- Strong understanding of international finance, including experience with tariffs, duty drawbacks, and TIFs
- Proven track record in costing analysis, profitability optimization, and financial modeling
- Experience in scaling financial operations in a high-growth environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
