Job Description:
Set up, program, and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect make, and buy components.
Perform first article inspections and documents per AS9102.
Perform in-process and final inspections.
Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and documents.
Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
OT eligible.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T principles.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparators, and surface plate work.
Experience inspecting tight tolerance, and high-value components.
Familiar with the use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
