Job Description:

One of our key clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and have 2-5 years of commercial bankruptcy experience at a national law firm. Bankruptcy clerkship experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Representing debtors, creditors, and other interested parties in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Providing legal analysis and strategic advice on bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents.
• Participating in negotiations with creditors and other stakeholders.
• Attending court hearings and advocating on behalf of clients.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on complex bankruptcy cases.
• Keeping abreast of changes in bankruptcy law and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the state where the position is located.
• 2-5 years of commercial bankruptcy experience at a national law firm.
• Bankruptcy clerkship experience is preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
