ESC’s premier healthcare client is seeking a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician to join their organization working onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role works M-F 2pm-6pm. This is an automation role with no patient interaction and requires you to remain focused, stand on your feet throughout your entire shift and process and fill prescriptions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Utilize machines that automate the dispensing of medications, including pill packagers, dispensers and automated counting systems.
- Ensure that automated systems are functioning properly to dispense medications
- Enter patient data and prescription information
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with medication intake processes.
- Troubleshoot issues with automated dispensing systems.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications:
- WI State Registration Pharmacy Tech License is required
- Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy technician position
- Automation experience
- High School Diploma
