Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Planner to join our team. As a

Material Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials

throughout our supply chain. You will be responsible for inventory control, demand planning,

and production planning to meet customer requirements.

Job Description:

- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to analyze demand, create purchase

orders, and maintain appropriate inventory levels

- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

- Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory

- Conduct regular analysis of demand patterns and adjust production plans accordingly

- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure materials are available for

production schedules

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement

and cost reduction

- Generate reports and provide data analysis on material availability, lead times, and supplier

performance

- Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes

Job Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Material Planner or similar role in a manufacturing or supply chain

environment

- Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control principles

- Experience in demand planning and production planning

- Familiarity with warehouse operations and supply chain management concepts

- Proficient in using software applications such as Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams

and external suppliers
