Job Description:
- Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of instrument application, operation and of the electrical and mechanical principles involved in repair, testing and calibration
- Develop electrical systems design narratives, technical studies, and reports.
- Present technical briefings to management, program officials, and technical staff.
- Adhere to all safety standards and practices.
Required Experience:
- This role requires experience with onsite support and troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Looking for a contractor to assist with commissioning & startup activities.
- Understanding of a Pharma/Biotech environment.
- 5+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, or certificate/diploma in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience, also time served trade experienced (electrician or process instrumentation technician) also considered that has good startup & commissioning and facility qualification experience.
- Keywords: temperature, pressure, level, flow instrumentation, scales, VFD's (variable frequency drives), profibus (communication protocol).
- Candidate should work with DCS Systems. Industries they work in should be processed-based to use the same types of instruments. It is important to have experience working in a manufacturing plant supporting automation and controls equipment. Need someone that is a problem solver / troubleshooter.
